A Reflection Tool for HR Pros Navigating Reinvention

This week is all about the Stuck, Spinning, or Starting Over, a reflection guide & tool designed for HR professionals navigating the complex feelings of misalignment, job changes, or quiet reinvention.

Last year, I found myself in that exact place, in a role that looked great on paper, but I felt off. I was misaligned, not just burnt out. In fact, I didn’t have a clear plan or path forward, just questions and uncertainty.

Eventually, I realised I wasn’t alone in this feeling. Many HR pros are stuck in that same in-between place, not behind, just between chapters. So I created this guide to help anyone who feels lost or unsure how to move forward with clarity and intention.

The Guide

Below, you’ll find a comprehensive reflection framework to help you name your current state, diagnose what’s pulling you off course, reconnect with what you really need, and choose your next aligned step.

This guide is not a strict formula. In fact, it’s a flexible tool that grows with you as you navigate change. I’m sharing it as a work in progress, hoping it gives you a place to start and a way to create clarity in the chaos.

Inside, you’ll find questions, exercises, and prompts designed to help you build momentum through small, intentional shifts, all while honouring where you’ve been and who you are.

Before you get started, take a moment to this about where you’re at, are you Stuck, Spinning, or Starting Over?

Getting Started

  • Download and save the guide.
  • Choose one section that resonates most with you.
  • Take your time working through it at your own pace

Remember: this is not about perfection, it’s about progress.
Adapt what works, leave what doesn’t, and make it your own.

Questions to Think About

  • How do you currently experience your role and energy at work?
  • What parts of your workday or environment drain you?
  • What values or strengths do you want to bring back into focus?
  • What small step could you take this week toward feeling more aligned?

P.S. If you’re stuck on something and wondering how I’ve approached it, send me a message. Your question might even spark a future edition.

P.P.S. If you’d rather talk it through, you can book some time with me here.
